The aroma of Mandarin is similar to Tangerine, but its chemical components give it a markedly sedative and calming effect. Mandarin is among the top oils for children, helping relieve anxiety and stress. A digestive tonic, helping break down fats.
It has a sweet, soft, and delicately citrusy aroma — lighter, gentler, and more floral than Orange or Lemon, with a warm, almost candy-like quality that's universally appealing. One of the most gentle citrus oils available.
Considered one of the safest citrus oils for use with children and during pregnancy. Pairs beautifully with other top notes like Bergamot, Neroli, or Lavender, and base notes like Frankincense, Sandalwood, or Ylang Ylang.
