Oregano

It has a warm, sharp, and intensely herbaceous aroma — very similar to Origanum vulgare but often considered even more potent, with a higher carvacrol and thymol content that gives it an exceptionally powerful medicinal character.

Primarily sourced from Morocco and North Africa, it's widely used in the fragrance and pharmaceutical industries. In aromatherapy it's valued for the same powerful antimicrobial and immune-boosting properties as common Oregano, but its intensity makes it even more of a specialist oil.
